The beginning....

The vows have been said, the cake has been cut... here we are 3 months later and each day gets better and better.
Now I have officially jumped on the bandwagon...and started a blog! In my loads of spare time between working 9 to 5 and grad school at night I thought this would be a great idea! Sarcasm does not translate as well over the internet :) Really though, I am starting this because I love to read blogs and catch up with my friends. Life has gotten pretty stressful lately and I thought what better to do than to write about the little things that make me happy and what makes our life so much fun together!

So how do I summarize the three best months of my life.....

Lets start with the most important part....the WEDDING!

June 26, 2010 Brett and I were married at Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville, TN. It truly was the best day of our lives.

Surrounded by our family and friends we married under the beautiful magnolia trees in plantation gardens. It was truly a southern summer evening..there was rolling thunder as we said our vows, and luckily the rain held out until 5 minutes after the ceremony! Then it proceeded to pour for an hour!

Following the ceremony we had a cocktail hour followed by an amazing dinner, catered by Chefs Market in my hometown of Goodlettsville, TN

Dancing followed with a band in the Carriage House! 

The night finally had to end and Brett and I left for the Hermitage Hotel! 

EARLY the next morning... as in 4:00 a.m. we left for the airport to head to Antigua!

But it was all worth it when we arrived at Hermitage Bay! It was heaven on earth, honestly the best week of my life. It was so relaxing perfect spot for Brett and I to start our life together.
